Frisco’s Neglect Receives Negative National Press
Stop Frisco Animal Mill Sales has been leading this charge to rid Petland and their abusive pet practices from the City of Frisco for some time, and much like Frisco’s Pet Project’s efforts are being put off. We use the words “put off” because the City of Frisco leaders will gladly talk to you, but they won’t take any real significant steps to put your requests into motion. Perhaps this negative national attention will give them cause to take action to better protect our pets and our residents. And, if the article isn’t enough, look at the photos – warning – they are upsetting. https://newsroom.humanesociety.org/fetcher/index.php?searchMerlin=1&searchBrightcove=1&submitted=1&mw=d&q=TXPetland0919.
What does it take to for the City of Frisco to take responsibility for protecting our pets? What can you do to help?
First, LIKE and FOLLOW Stop Frisco Animal Mill Sales Facebook page – the numbers really do matter. Frisco’s Pet Project didn’t start getting any attention until we hit 500.
Next, WRITE or CALL your City Council (links below). Call this article to their attention. You might want to also mention that Collin County Animal Services continues to struggle for space and has been posting that they are at 135% over-capacity and that isn’t even a month after Clear the Shelters in August.
